Presumably, there was also a jump in heart attacks around 2008, the so called Great Recession? Personally, I don't remember that happening. Do you? Are there jumps in heart attacks during specific stressful periods in countries throughout the ages too? Not sure. It would be interesting to see if this is happening in each country.
