I won’t say where I’m at but there are engineers here that haven’t committed a single line of code in three months. I’m not sure what they do all day as they’re not in meeting either aside from stand-ups.

- morganf 4y agoDon’t their managers ask them in the stand-up-s? How do their managers handle it?
- throwaway5959 4y agoTheir (manager) personality is passive. We have enough people to cover, so why rock the boat?
- fragsworth 4y agoThat can be incredibly demoralizing for the employees who actually contribute. In these cases it is actually good for morale to have layoffs.
