Ask HN: Why are iOS apps so large in size?
- rock_artist 4y agoWould be nicer to include some stats or more information to the question. I have an app I've made with JUCE (C++ cross-platform) and it's 25MB, another app made by it is 2.5MB. I have a swift "playgrounds" app and the IPA is ~330KB while on device it take 1.5MB. - So what is considering large (or small) and why? - What's the stats of the appstore? - What's the stats on Android? - Are you comparing apps with UI (CLI can easily be tinier).
