It's interesting. The same post was on the Rust Reddit a few days ago, and almost everybody got the point of the article, which is the opposite of what we could infer from the title alone. Many have a good laugh as well. But somehow, on HN, the article seems to have been taken literally with long threads about "::" v.s. "." and how < > are bad for generics. Physics over optics, not everything is about cosmetics.
