I think a better idea would be to exile people to Mars, let them build their own spaceships to fly back to Earth in a giant armada, and then let Earth's defenses slaughter them with radar-directed missiles. The last few Martian stragglers who manage to land would be met by well-armed grandmothers. Hardly any Martians would survive. The shame of this event would cause an outbreak of peace on Earth under a new religion.
- muzani 4y agoExiling people to Mars would likely end up creating Australia. Huge place. Hostile climate. Expensive land prices. Really good technology but no venture capital. Slow and expensive internet. Generally down to earth attitude where most people are accepted.
