Pressure on whom? Clearly not on Russia. Russia has no reason to retreat if China attempts to invade Taiwan, on the contrary. Pressure on the US? Wrap up? Wrap up how? There are only 2 ways: 1. accelerate the arming with modern weapons of Ukraine, 2. negotiate with Russia some form of freezing of the conflict. 1 can lead to nuclear war, 2 is simply wrong.
