While concerning, I think I'd need to know more before I go into outrage mode. This seems to be about grades 3 and lower. What kind of materials would really be both (a) prosecutable under this statute and (b) not reasonably a crime to present to 7 year olds? My guess is teachers are worried about "two dads/moms" kind of kids books or something? Is it realistic that such things would be prosecuted as felonies?
