The bartenders I know are very social, confident and, that's maybe just coincidence, good locking. They are easy to talk to and know how to command a room, even if it's full of drunk people. If we compare stereotypes, they would tick all the boxes that are not typically associated with engineers. I know a few so hard "into the grind" that they are not bothering to learn the language, since it's always english at work and they do not really interact with people outside work. A different approach to life I guess, but probably not more successful on the dating market.
