Garmin and L5
- PaulHoule 4y agoI am wanting a better handheld GPS pretty bad. There are many urban and forest locations I go to where GPS signals are poor and tracks are often offset half a block or more. Nice to see the L5 train pull out of the station.

Running single track out in the woods of Anacortes, WA, the Ultra consistently marked my position within feet. In comparison, on the same trails the Garmin would regularly think I’m on a trail parallel to the one I was actually on.
- kylehotchkiss 4y agoI got a Montana 2 years ago and enjoy the larger than GPSMap display size (so like any garmin device this is pretty much still new). Do it!
- Saris 4y agoI find my oneplus 7 pro to be surprisingly good at maintaining a good GPS position, phones usually support a bunch of GPS systems so maybe that has something to do with it. I use LocusMaps with the openandromaps.org maps loaded for my state.
