The Cultural Defeat of Microsoft Windows
- robswc 4y agoYea. I was actually shocked at how many people use Windows for development work. I could sorta see it if you're frontend but backend... tooling has been so much smoother in POSIX. It's funny how I see some devs stuck in WSL for 90% of the day/work yet don't make the switch. I understand being comfortable with Windows, that's what I grew up with... but sometimes the grass is greener, lol. I do use Windows for gaming though. I know you can do a lot with Linux these days but its nice to not fuss with so many 3rd party things.
