Go's allure is that is dead simple to get a basic http service off the ground: practically "hello world" level simple. Then complexity sets in. Go has the same problem with interfaces, mocks, and work arounds that enterprise Java does, for one thing. Then there's go's concurrency: deceptive simplicity is not good. Go makes it trivial to write concurrent code. Concurrent code that's resilient and efficient? Not so much. And with all the other little footguns and antipatterns/antifeatures in the language, it also makes it trivial to write regular code that is fragile and prone to error.
