Ask HN: I wrote like a machine and ChatGPT thinks it was AI-generated. Matrix?
I've been writing tech satire for a while now. Recently, I did an overdose of AI humor with robotic references.
To my surprise, ChatGPT thinks those articles were written by an AI.
Here's the short response I got from ChatGPT:
"Furthermore, the text also mentions being open-source and the writer being a machine. All of these statements suggest that the text was written by an AI."

And here's my full story link. I gave it to ChatGPT to determine if it was written by a human or AI:

To be clear, I did use ChatGPT-assistance for finding new words.
But ChatGPT confuses AI-references jokes as "written by AI".
I wonder if the fine lines between AI and human writing are already getting blurred and can lead to identity and existential crisis for readers and writers.
Thoughts? Are there any similar instances of this happening with you?
