I couldn't agree more.
This morning I nearly had a heart attack when I read the title 'Good bye, Google Maps… thanks for all the fish' from 'google.com'. Thankfully I was too soon out of deep sleep to have a physiological reaction... It certainly woke me up though!
- easy_rider 15y agoHahahahaha YEah, i actually thought the article would be something like " Since our pricing model is not well received, and we can not fund the project without charging heavily, and no one wants to pay, well byebye?!"
- Uchikoma 15y agoI had exactly the same reaction this morning, and - again - wished for subdomains for some special domains like google.com
- arien 15y agoUhm, for some reason it didn't even cross my mind such possibility. Instantly thought it was someone quitting GMaps for some other tool, and that's what it was. Afterwards I did ponder why it was showing google.com domain, and yes, I can understand it can be misleading.

- jasonkostempski 15y agoI had the same reaction. In this case I think I would have had the same reaction even with a subdomain since Google has started to announce things on their various Google+ Pages.
