Here in Mexico there's some sort of idea that people from outside Mexico, particularly Anericans or Canadians are "better" in some way just because... and it's a sentiment a lot of people IB the country share. Along with clasism. I'm pretty white for a Mexican, and it boils my blood when I'm treated different than say, someone from Mayan descent in s restaurant.
