Are there any “open source” games like Warhammer 40k worth playing where 3d printing miniatures is possible and encouraged?
- shitloadofbooks 4y agoNot true Open Source, but One Page Rules is close in spirit with what you're talking about and has a community of people who actually do play it.
- ethbr0 4y agoBattletech generally has no official problem with proxies or alternate models.
- darreninthenet 4y agoAnd is a significantly superior game
- darreninthenet 4y agoMantic Games Deadzone... it's not open source but they don't require you to use official models, the box comes with all the army lists, they don't change the rules every 10 minutes and the factions are all suspiciously... familiar (without breaking copyright) and you can just drop in most of your existing 40k miniatures
