"Script kiddies" are so-called because they run other peoples' software without understanding what it is they're using. They aren't developing their own exploits, or developing novel software. They just download and run someone else's knowledge. This isn't really anything different, IMO; it perhaps lowers the barrier a bit, but let's not pretend that low-skill malicious actors using tools they don't understand for bad purposes is anything novel.
