Show HN: Never write release notes again, with Makelog and GPT-3
- HubbardJacob 4y agoHello HN! My name is Jacob Hubbard and I’m a Software Engineer at Makelog, a changelog tool for modern software teams. We just recently launched a demo of a feature we have been experimenting: autogenerate changelog entries with GPT-3 based on Jira, Linear, and Shortcut issues. You might be thinking, “another GPT-3 tool??” and to be honest, I don’t blame you. We (Makelog) have been in the release communication space for the last couple years and during that time have developed some cool features that work extremely well with GPT-3 models. Filter / search / select relevant tickets (from our integrations) → GPT-3 → Changelog post ready to go. All within the same editor. No copy/pasting or typing in stuff manually. I personally built the demo myself so all feedback is appreciated! Thanks :D
- sharemywin 4y agodon't you worry about your code making it's way into GPT?
- HubbardJacob 4y agoRight now we have full control over the prompts we send/ask the GPT models so don't think there is any worry about that. (If that is what you meant!) Sorry if I misunderstood the question.
