How to retain your personal computing freedom and avoid going back to the future
- nullfield 4y agoI’m surprised there’s not more discussion on some of the point in this. It’s less “definitely inevitable” than “ever more probable” IMO, but things aren’t better than 20 years ago for what computing freedom looks like. The rate of change makes it seem like non-free software and lack of hardware support/availability will make things ever-less-friendly, too.
