I guarantee there was a lot of pressure to add crap to that page. "Just a couple of top news links!" "How about icons for people's most visited sites?" "Can we sneak in a 'promo' or two?"
- bluepizza 4y agoExcellent point. While I believe that whatever was on the front page was Larry and Sergey's ultimate decision, there definitely was some work to convince them to keep it this way.
