There's expensive insurance products for a short term trip. They'll even fly you back to wherever you're from if it's serious enough.
- cjbgkagh 4y agoI do get the extra insurance, it’s still a major hassle I’d rather not deal with. Plus I don’t trust insurance companies who have a strong incentive to weasel out of their obligations. A commonly known strategy is Deny, Delay, Defend. You have to make sure you have enough money saved to hire a lawyer for when you need to sue the insurance company to get them to pay. Which is an extra hassle I’d rather not deal with.
