- spacedcowboy 4y agocmd-K is better than 'clear' on the Mac for me. 'clear' just clears the visual display. If I'm about to do something that's going to spew lines out, and I want to be able to search the results easily, cmd-K will clear the screen and the history, so the scrollbar represents the output of that single command.
