- cf100clunk 4y agoSpeaking only for my ageing self, whose recall benefits from such hints, it is a helpful tip that I've possibly/probably seen the material before. In that sense, it adds valuable context to the title string. - sillywalk 4y agoThere is a BBC documentary series called Traumazone from 2022, which has a bunch of video from the USSR/Russia in 1985-1999, which is pretty interesting. Growing up in the 1980s, I never really got to see a look at the life of your typical Soviet citizen just living/working.
- sorokod 4y agoThere is deep nostalgia for the good old days in the Russian Federation. Some pine for the USSR, some specifically for USSR during WWII and Stalin, some for the pre-revolution empire.
