Unclear to me how regardless of the terms of a contest it is legal to use words like “unlimited” without it truly being unlimited. Two $10 meals a week for 50 years hardly sounds anywhere close to unlimited.
- benj111 4y agoIt'll be even more limited in 50 years when inflation has had its way.
- O__________O 4y agoTaxes are likely going to have a bigger impact on cash value to the winner, at least short term.
- benj111 4y agoForgot you have to pay taxes on winnings over there. How do you pay tax on something like this? 1 lump sum? How is it valued as I assume it isn't transferable. Which then raises the question of what happens if you can't afford.
