I say Yay... Protests are heard the loudest when more people join them. I get that us being down isn't quite as informative to the public as say, facebook going down or google dropping out for a day but as other have already stated if we join others are more likely to follow. It's the classic timid group effect (I doubt that's what it's actually called.) You know, when there are ten people being asked to volunteer an answer to a question, and no one answers until that one guy raises his hand, then suddenly everyone else has something to say. We need to be part of the first, not for us but to get others to throw their voices (or in this case, 0's and 1's.) behind the cause.
