We never sign up for a free trial of anything if it involves giving more than a login and password which is made up on the spot, and an auto-generated throwaway email. Any personally identifiable or corporate information is worth money, especially a credit card number. With a credit card number and a (non-throwaway) email, any startup now has enough information to make a deal with a data broker and sell our information. This is considered a data breach for some employers.
