Driving 100 Miles in an EV Is Now More Expensive Than in an ICE
- daly 4y agoGaslighting... I drove 199 miles in a Tesla Model 3 and did a full supercharger refill. I drove 100 miles in my Subaru (quarter tank) and did a fillup. Tesla: $11 Subaru $22 Your mileage may vary :-)
- killjoywashere 4y agouh, what? Some unspecified calculation of deadhead miles from home to a charging station is the source of this additional cost? A) most people charge at home. B) if you use a supercharger, it's usually en route or at a destination. So, who conjured up this metric? AEG is headquartered in ... Lansing, Michigan, home of General Motors. Ah. Nevermind.
