Why is GPT so bad at humor? I thought it'd be a text generation task it's well suited for
- jack_riminton 4y agoI suppose it just mimics style rather than substance. And the substance of jokes is mostly implicit.
- chronicsonic 4y agoProbably the same reason it's bad at writing code, it just puts text together without knowing more about context. Same thing with midjourney, it's just with images you dont notice it as much.
