Learning Styles Don't Exist
- inphovore 4y agoRefutation: this study shows direct cognitive immersion outperformed their sensory style approach. Not that individual cognitive strategies do not exist. Making someone do something is far more effective than waiting for someone to be comfortable doing so. Over their lives, each student will have their own struggles, and each having familiarities with cognitive styles will make students more prepared learners. (I wish I had been formally taught mnemonics.) Learning to make yourself do things you do not want to do is the ultimate hand craft of self development.
