Lessons of Air War in Ukraine
- Domobran7 4y agoA look at what can current war in Ukraine teach modern air forces.
- nikolay 4y agoDidn't Czechia, Poland, and others give old Soviet jet fighters to Ukraine though?
- Domobran7 4y agoThere was talk about it, but to my knowledge nothing had come through. I only recall that US blocked Polish request for sending MiG-29s to Ukraine, due to these fighters having been upgraded with NATO technology.
- dsq 4y agoI found this a refreshing change from the regular “Russians/ Ukrainians are total losers/heroes” fluff. Gives the gritty picture with real numbers, issues, and tactics of both sides. Exposes some peacetime fallacies, misconceptions and pitfalls for Western militaries, such as the dependence on functioning long runways and limited precision munitions.
