Ask HN: A Site for Insider Knowledge?
I recently faced a problem where the solution required insider information into one business segment where I have no contacts to (specifically, tourism). Is there any website where people can ask insider questions from people from other professions, not publicly?
- Peroni 4y agoUnlikely for free. There's an entire industry built around this premise. One example: https://www.alphasights.com/ https://www.alphasights.com/

Others that I have experience with as a consultant are Guidepoint, GLG, and Coleman Research. Your experience using them will vary; they're incredibly expensive, they don't do a particularly good job of vetting the experts they find, but there is definitely some gold there.
