USA Tanks Going to Ukraine
- m348e912 4y agoThe US will probably need to send troops with those tanks to operate them. It's not like Ukrainian troops can become proficient in operating these tanks overnight. If US troops are involved (not just mercenaries), this move certainly represents a significant escalation by the US.
- verdverm 4y agoThe tanks aren't going any time soon. They are going through a different process that involves a "purchase" rather than being taken directly from storage. And like other platforms, Ukrainians will travel to other countries for training. We probably won't see these for 6 months and we will not see active US troops in Ukraine, unless something drastically changes.
