it's going to be a long road for a lot of people who can't flex with these kinds of changes
- ProllyInfamous 4y agoI have had to stop getting too-excited (i.e. demonstrating what 85%+ this technology can do) because it incites concern towards my well-being from peers that I know genuinely do love me. "You're 'manic' " is a terrible response to somebody holding out there handing, trying to show you the future: "I can only show you the door, Neo; you have to open it." The human hostility that smarter people are showing towards this is simple-minded, certainly. Wrap your heads around it folks; I'm here if you have any (good or bad) questions. The more friends, the merrier! A brother even questioned with significant concern that it is scary how much "loners" tend to enjoy this technology; I had to explain that I (a "loner") have more actual friends than he, and that one wife cannot replace all these supposed friends that everybody is supposed to have — 400,000,000 people in the world readily admit to not having even a single friend. I have a few trusted friends, and it seems the "less techie" the friend, the more rapidly they are able to understand this. After playing with ChatGPT -projects for about six weeks, I can assure you the creativity is a "unhuman" activity, rare even among homo sapiens; and that most flesh-carrying meatbags are more machine-like than readily admitted.
