I’ve never found a comp sci undergrad to have any trouble learning. Lack of passion, yes but this doesn’t translate to poor work performance. Ultimately it boils down to how well the individual will work with the team and management. It’s more of a personality question. A great resume and the person could be a dick despite being technically able.
