I also created a kid's book for Christmas; but I still haven't written any blog post about it. What I did: - I asked each of my 5 nieces/nephews to give ideas (e.g. invent a character) - I generated around 10 stories with ChatGPT, based on their input. I used ChatGPT in French, it worked almost as well as in English (except for poetry). - I got a total of 4500 words. This took at lot of iteration with ChatGPT, because I gave guidance and I used lots of followup prompts to force ChatGPT to add more details to the stories. - I generated 2/3 images per story, plus book cover. - I paid for a professional print of the book - 24 pages, around 20 euros - In total, I spent around 15-20 hours of work (content generation took a lot of iterations). That was a nice Christmas gift.
