The booster does seem frosty. I didn't noticed Falcon 9 to be frosty. Is it because of a white paint making it hard to see, or it is insulation at work? Probab

The booster does seem frosty. I didn't noticed Falcon 9 to be frosty. Is it because of a white paint making it hard to see, or it is insulation at work?
Probably not a paint though, because boosters often dirty, covered in soot from earlier flights.
- kristianp 4y agoThe Falcon 9 uses Kerosene as fuel, which I imagine isn't supercooled. I would guess that it uses liquid oxygen though, so there should be some frostiness.
