Only 50%? It should be 0%. Who on earth bothers to do this. In my experience, smart devices are without exception worse than dumb ones. I have a Nest (came with the house, too lazy to change the mounting and put in something else) and once I had to spend an hour manually clearing all the random recurring temperature changes it had "cleverly" accumulated over months of use and people changing the temp. I had to work quite hard to make this silly device behave in a predictable, controllable, useful way. And that is what is awful about electronics these days. Smart by default, but "smart" is actually dumber than dumb. Just let us have dumb please.
