I have newer GE washer/dryer w/wifi and it's handy to see notifications popup and stats, but it was a hassle to setup. Download app, create account, sign into another app that doesn't like to retain your id/pw, and spend 10-15 minutes per machine while it figures out how to connect. Manufacturers fail to show people with a single sheet of instructions or a QR code linked Youtube video how to get this setup. The assumption everyone is a tech genius at home is insane.
