I tried around 2017 or so. It was just two brands of adapters back then, one from startech, the other one I forgot. Both of them made the boot up way slower, and it was common knowledge in the scene that there is no solution to that. Either better adapters emerged in the meantime, or the Xbox just has some quirk.
