I cannot believe that we are living in a world where people would rather their machine get completely bricked and thrown in the dump than have the potential to be used by future generations for countless tasks and innovations. Do we not see the loss? Do we not care about waste? Why in the world would we be okay with bricked devices never being operational again? It clearly doesn't prevent theft, it only prevents use. Even when it wasn't stolen, and rather was improperly recycled, we have a responisbility to make these machines usable again. I personally cannot wait for someone to figure out how to jump the T2 chip, resolving this issue once and for all. Shame on all of us for being so shortsighted.
