  I mean, all I did was use it as a screen and a keyboard. If I'd actually booted it on its own drive and installed software on it and returned it, they would've taken it back anyway. I didn't even spin the hard drive. [EDIT] TO BE VERY CLEAR, I DID NOT TAKE THE I7 BOARD FROM THE NEW LAPTOP AND PUT IT IN THE 2014. That would be extremely unethical. I bought a separate used i7.
