As a father of three daughters (2 teens), I wonder and worry about this as well. My girls are wicked smart (no bias or anything) and I have faith they are going to do great things, but I worry about privelege I've had as man working against them. That aside, we absolutely need more women in computing. I'be been doing my best to encourage my daughters when I can.
