Am I the only HN participant who is on the fence about SOPA?

- 9999 15y agoMaybe? Even if you agree with the underlying goal of SOPA (protecting rights holders), the bill is horribly written and grants far too much power to copyright holders without any transparency. So in what sense are you on the fence? You agree with the underlying goal, but not the execution?
- danilocampos 15y agoIt would seem so. But I suspect, given the obnoxiousness of the bill, its proponents and its consequences, you're more likely the only HN participant who hasn't read much about SOPA and is willing to say so out loud.
