- DrThunder 4y agoJapanese people are culturally more inclined to be pleasant, it's part of the way they're raised, so I don't think that's a good example. I've not had a pleasant experience in most other western nations. I won't say it was bad but it's nowhere near as efficient and you have to really get waiters attention before they'll do anything.
