This has nothing to do with schools, or gender conformity, or obscenity, or teacher shortages. This is a political stunt, a troll post. It's purposely vague and ill-defined to create a vacuum upon which people with strong opinions can file in from the extremes ("don't say gay", "you're supporting pornography", "you're a groomer", "you're a fascist".) But what it mostly is is a classic culture war distraction from the real underlying structural issues with America today: economic and social inequality, the weaponization of politics, and the simply mindboggling amount of graft and corporate interference into our legal and political systems. As a divisive tactic that limits people's attention to much more pressing matters, it's cheap at twice the price.
