In the static output, put a dashed, or shadowed marker corresponding "frame 0" of the animation, e.g. in the git reset example, show where "HEAD" was before (perhaps even add an arrow) 2. Make it possible to 'remember' a set progress, of git commands - and replay them. (I.e. simulation looks ok, now apply them on real git) 3. Make it possible to visualize actual git log in the same style as simulation.
