Prevent mail to Gmail users from being sent to spam
- oynqr 4y agoOkay, now prevent your users from sending me spam.
- josephcsible 4y agoMore hypocrisy by Google: > Don't mix different types of content in the same message. For example, don't include content about promotions in sales receipt messages. When I bought my Pixel 6 from the Google Store, the receipt they emailed me contained offers for accessories and their protection plan. It sure didn't end up in spam though. And don't forget that a lot of senders have followed all of the rules in this article, but Gmail wrongfully marks all of their messages as spam anyway.
- hammyhavoc 4y agoNot so much hypocrisy, but internal policy rarely matching how interactions with third-parties are handled.
- jrnichols 4y agoI have a TLD that ends in .fyi and I self host. I pass 100% of the tools on mxtoolbox, yet email going to gmail and Google Workspaces or whatever it is sometimes never gets delivered. I can see it being accepted by Gmail but that's it. sounds like I need to make a google account just to use Google Postmaster tools? one reason I kind of think that Google has gotten to be way too big for its britches when it comes to email. It's frustrating. The answer I usually hear is "just use Gmail."
