I think the first stage of cutting should be management taking a cut. That's what I've always done (3 times in the last 20+ years). Then all employees. Then layoffs.
- petre 4y agoFair enough. Bad company performance is usually management's fault to adapt to market dynamic, lack of vision on the CEO's part. Yes, one could blame it on external factors such as a recession as well, but even Apple's CEO took a voluntary pay cut.
