Job Market’s 2.6M Missing People Unnerves Star Harvard Economist
- uejfiweun 4y agoThis is completely anecdotal, but I am a 25 year old guy from the east coast. I can tell you that a LOT of people I know from high school are not currently working. Instead they mostly sit around smoking weed and playing video games. Evidently there are ways to cover the expenses of that lifestyle without having to work some shit job. I mean it's honestly kind of tempting. I work in big tech and I could easily go and join them for the next 10 years with my savings, and I'm sure I would have a great time. This is a problem that is not going away - both video games and weed are increasing in potency every year.
