- Tade0 4y agoWorst that will happen nowadays is that it would throttle heavily. I broke the fans in my laptop through overzealous cleaning and when I turned them off completely to not hear the rattling the laptop generally still worked - just forget about any heavy tasks. CPU: AMD 4800HS.
