A woman was arrested for killing her terminally ill husband at a hospital
- more_corn 4y agoIt’s not murder when the subject decided to die and planned it himself. It would have been suicide but he became too weak. It’s assisted suicide and far more humane than being forced to die of thirst or hunger which would be the other (but perfectly legal) option. I do hope she gets resented by the aclu or another freedom fighting organization. This would be just the sort of precedent setting case to finally legalize the reasonable choice of dying with dignity. The law currently forces us to endure prolonged suffering when we receive a terminal diagnosis. That seems unthinkingly cruel.
